We want you: Are you a reliable, safety‑focused Trade Assistant looking for a stable town‑based role with plenty of variety? This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, operating forklifts, assisting trades, and being part of a supportive team that values safety, mateship and high standards. As a Trade Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day logistics and yard operations, including: * High‑volume forklift operation * Loading/unloading trucks and handling parts and materials * General labouring, housekeeping, and yard/workshop upkeep * Assembly and dismantling work * Performing spotter duties * Following all safety, environmental and quality requirements * Completing job paperwork, risk assessments and daily documentation * Maintaining equipment, vehicles and PPE to company standards This is a town-based position with consistent hours and no requirement for FIFO/DIDO. The successful applicant will have: * MR or HR Class Driver’s Licence * Current Forklift Licence (LF) * Current Dogging Licence (Desirable) * Minimum 2 years’ relevant industry experience * Strong safety focus and adherence to procedures * Solid work ethic, reliability and commitment to high standards * Ability to work effectively in a team with varying supervision level * Problem solving and decision-making skills * Great communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
