Job Overview:
We are seeking a Full Time Trade Assistant, reporting to the Fabrication Team Leader and Operations Manager to assist our fabrication at our Dandenong South facility.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Holds current drivers licence and can drive a manual (Desirable)
• Holds a current forklift licence (Desirable)
• Punctual, reliable and hardworking
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Proven history within a logistics/warehouse environment will be highly regarde

• Read blueprints and engineering drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Completing Cutting Lists and preparation of materials for fabrication
• Building of sub-components to support fabrication team
• Basic Pressure Testing
• Oxygen Cleaning Parts
• Workshop Clean-up tasks
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Work within a fabrication team and take direction from team leader as required
