Description

We’re looking for a hands-on person to help our maintenance team with farm equipment and machinery maintenance. You’ll assist with repairs, servicing, fabrication and general workshop duties over our two orchard locations. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job and grow your skills within our supportive maintenance team.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful for this position, you will have:

  • Willingness to learn and work hard
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Forklift, loader, or other machinery tickets (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous experience on a farm or workshop is helpful but not required
  • Good attitude, attention to detail, and able to follow instructions
  • Safety-focused and respectful team player

Responsibilities

As a valued member of the team and reporting to Maintenance Manager, you will:

  • Help maintain and repair farm equipment and machinery
  • Support tradespeople with welding, fabrication, and mechanical work
  • Assist in setting up and installing new machines or tools
  • Keep the workshop tidy, clean, and safe
  • Follow safety rules and report any problem
  • Work as part of a team and help where needed
