About the role UGLs Maintenance & Manufacturing facility based in Bassendean has an opportunity for an experienced Trades Assistant to join the team. Role is a full time permanent position and working on alternative day / afternoon rosters Rotating roster - one week dayshift 6.00 am - 2.30 pm, one week afternoon shift 1.30 pm - 10.30 pm. Reporting to the workshop supervisor, the main purpose of this role is to assist qualified trades staff in the performance of their work in a safe and efficient manner to deliver an exceptional standard of service to our clients. Assist tradespeople as instructed to enable work to be carried out Operate hand tools in safe and efficient manner Assist in maintenance and overhaul activities on a variety of components Labouring duties as required Cleaning armature & stator cores for rewind Ensure active involvement in Lean practices A strong commitment to maintaining a safety environment This role is not suitable for Working Holiday Visa's (417/462) due to the role being a full-time position About You Minimum 3 months experience on a maintenance site. Forklift licence is required Elevated Work Platform ticket preferred but not essential Dogman ticket is highly desirable 'C' Class Drivers License Able to perform duties, maintaining high standards in both Safety and Quality.
