Our Trade Sales Team is central to driving sales and building the Sundays brand. Our team members are experts at delivering on the top line, while being active in the Trade community to build meaningful relationships with the right industry partners.
The Business Development Manager will lead Trade Sales at Sundays by developing relationships with potential new accounts. They will need to build on the current success of the program leading Trade sales in the US and Canada.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years of B2B or trade Business Development experience within the home industry.
- Background in the furniture and/or design industry is a strong asset.
- Quick adaptability to acquire in-depth knowledge of the Sundays brand and product offerings.
- Willingness and ability to travel across North America.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in relationship building.
- Skilled at identifying new sales opportunities and product ideas informed by customer and industry trends.
- Motivated by challenges and eager to embrace opportunities for growth and development.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and equipped with excellent problem-solving abilities to achieve results both independently and collaboratively.

The total compensation for this role $90,000 - $110,000 per year.

Experience:
- Trade Business Development: 3 years (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M6J 2Z
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential trade clients to expand the Sundays network.
- Conduct outreach and in-person visits to trade accounts across North America.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the Sundays Trade Program.
- Implement and continuously improve the Sundays Trade Strategy.
- Collaborate effectively with Marketing and Product Development to align trade sales strategies with broader business goals.
- Establish and maintain a Trade Clienteling Program to strengthen client relationships.
- Work closely with Trade Account Representatives and the Customer Care team to ensure seamless service and support.
- Uphold and embody the Sundays brand values in all client interactions.
- Stay informed on industry design trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
