The Opportunity As a Trade Compliance Analyst at Allegro, you will be a critical player in our global success. You will be responsible for navigating the complexities of international trade regulations to ensure our innovative products flow seamlessly across borders to our customers worldwide. This role requires a sharp analytical mind and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be a key advisor to the business, interpreting complex regulations, shaping internal procedures, and driving continuous improvement to protect the company and enable our global growth. What You Will Do Perform rigorous compliance reviews for all import/export shipments, verifying correct HTS/ECCN classifications, country of origin, valuation, and required authorizations. Classify Allegro’s products and technology in accordance with U.S. and international trade laws. Conduct Restricted Party Screening for customers, vendors, and partners to ensure compliance with global sanctions. Act as a subject matter expert, providing clear guidance on trade compliance matters to management and staff across all business functions. Monitor the global regulatory landscape for changes, analyze the impact on Allegro, and update internal procedures and stakeholders accordingly. Develop and deliver targeted trade compliance training to empower employees across the organization. Execute and enhance our import/export audit programs to ensure robust compliance and identify areas for improvement. Generate and analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of our trade processes. Actively participate in cross-functional projects to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support new business initiatives. Maintain meticulous records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Allegro’s internal policies. What You Will Need Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., International Business, Supply Chain, Law) and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in trade compliance, international operations, or customs brokerage. Strong working knowledge of import/export regulations. Demonstrated analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively to various audiences. Preferred Qualifications Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS). Experience in the semiconductor or a similar high-tech industry. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and trade compliance software. Proven ability to manage projects and drive process improvements. Why Allegro?
