EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 3–5 years of experience in an import or export environment.
  • Knowledge of US customs TFETA laws and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.

QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you’ll oversee daily export compliance deliverables, support drawback recovery, and work closely with customs brokers to ensure compliant shipments.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage export compliance and drawback processes for finished goods and bulk exports, ensuring compliance with US customs TFETA laws.
  • Obtain, track, and submit export drawback claims, supporting cash recovery.
  • Support day-to-day operations, including denied party screenings through ACE, documentation, and verification of export activities.
  • Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate compliant exports across multiple projects.
  • Generate reports, analyze export data, and provide insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to key business projects such as Smirnoff exports to the UK, Shaker gin exports, and Project Nexus (US-bottled products exported to Brazil).
  • Support establishment of best practices, ensuring processes are well documented and efficient.
