We are currently seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to join our Legal and Compliance team in our Prague office.
Reporting to the General Counsel, your will act as a trusted partner for Honeywell’s sanctions compliance program, to perform diligence reviews to ensure compliance with sanctions regulations of the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other relevant sanctions laws.
The Trade Compliance Analyst II will support the maintenance of an effective sanction’s compliance program throughout the Company, including supporting portfolio reviews and assisting with programming needs (including training, building out/updating protocols and procedures, and auditing).
This position is a limited period maternity cover, 12 months in duration, with a possibility to extend the collaboration.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma (in any field) and 1-3 years’ working experience in trade compliance.
  • Trade Sanctions knowledge, either from education or work and Cross-Jurisdictional capability and approach.
  • Geopolitical tracking.
  • Delivering Training and Increasing Regulatory Awareness.
  • Data analytics and Risk Assessment & Management
Responsibilities
  • Support and assist with performing sanctions due diligence on existing and prospective customers, end-users, vendors, vessels/aircraft, projects, and transactions.
  • Support and assist with processing sanctions reviews through internal request tool and manage communications more broadly across business/functional line management to assess complex issues, and structure potential solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation of existing sanctions compliance processes.
  • Support embargo block processes and reviews.
  • Adhere to and implement sanctions policies and procedures and collaborate with the sanctions compliance team to identify and remove gaps in sanctions compliance processes.
