THE LEGAL, REGULATORY AND EXTERNAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT IN EMEA
Our department supports all Eastman businesses and corporate functions and deals with a broad variety of items, including legal (corporate law, contract law, distribution and agency, competition law, litigation and dispute resolution, finance and credit matters, labor law, M&A and corporate secretarial work), global business conduct, global trade compliance and product stewardship and regulatory affairs. For the EMEA LRE team, we are currently looking for a Trade Compliance Analyst & Paralegal. The position would be based in Eastman’s EMEA headquarters in Rotterdam.
QUALIFICATIONS
THE ROLE
The Trade Compliance Analyst and Paralegal will execute trade-related processes and provide assistance and support our corporate secretarial responsibilities across the EMEA region to maintain the company’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The position reports to the Regional Trade Compliance Manager and has a dotted reporting line to EMEA Legal Director.
This role is pivotal in ensuring legal and trade compliance and governance in EMEA and requires a detail-oriented professional with solid knowledge of legal procedures, excellent organizational skills and accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a dynamic international environment.
