In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that all local business activities comply with ABB’s trade policies and global trade regulations. Additionally, you will provide essential administrative and sales support, coordinate local market communication activities and drive continuous improvement within trade compliance processes. You will take ownership of serving as the key point of contact for our internal stakeholders. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining regulatory compliance and managing trade-related risks.

This role is reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Middle East & Africa in Dubai. Main stakeholders are local business management, internal trade compliance officer, internal legal counsel, supply chain and logistics teams, and Sales.

Qualifications:

  • You are highly skilled and experienced in administrative support within the industrial sector and have experience or strong interest in trade compliance processes, regulatory frameworks
  • You are passionate about attention to detail and effective stakeholder communication
  • You are at ease communicating in English
  • You hold current relevant trade compliance certifications and work authorization valid in the job location (nice to have
Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Regional Manager and local business managers with administrative tasks such as reporting, presentations, travel planning and handling expense claims and correspondence, supporting visitors from global Division as well as creating purchase request for non-direct production materials
  • Serving as primary contact for internal trade compliance inquiries and ensuring compliance with trade regulations, customs, sanctions, and export controls
  • Managing trade compliance records, authorizations, permits, and audit support
  • Supporting budgeting, event planning, and administrative functions related to sales support and market communication
