Description
International Trade Compliance Specialist Contribute to International Trade Compliance strategies and provide guidance and strategic support to managers and colleagues that helps reduce risk and exposure from compliance violations in APAC region, especially China. Services multiples businesses including international locations and manage/maintain communications with internal/external legal counsel and government agencies, to ensure that any exposure to financial or legal risk is considered and mitigated as part of International Trade. Focus on China relative regulatory and affairs, including Customs post audit, routine inquiry etc. on behalf of McC.     Determine, review & audit origin, HTS classification, and the status of various Trade Agreements that allow company to take advantage of reduced costs and duty savings in compliance manner. Support Inter-company issues and regional project. Serves as a liaison with China. Manage and provide training to the business on International Trade Compliance matters that ensure compliance and maintain ‘best practice’ that reduces exposure to fines and penalties.     p
Responsibilities
