Description

The Opportunity Ventia are seeking a Trade Coordinator to provide oversight on reactive repair and preventative maintenance at the Modbury Hospital. This position forms part of our AGFMA contract and will be responsible for the site-based management of trades, both internal and sub-contractors. The Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) for the Government of South Australia provides facilities management services for over 3500 Government-owned sites across 25 Government Agencies. Ventia will partner with local small to medium businesses to help deliver these services to the community of South Australia, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is a permanent full-time position and will include some on-call requirements. The role will be based on-site at the Modbury Hospital working between the hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday. The key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Provide site-based oversight of works assigned to the trades ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with relevant standards and specification. Ensure works are completed by competent and qualified trades people within timeframes specified in work orders to the required work standards and/or the standard detailed in materiel specific instructions, including works completed by subcontracted trades. Ensure effective communication and coordination with clients, suppliers, and the service delivery team regarding maintenance activities. Maintain documentation of repairs, modifications, and additions by uploading photographic records, relevant documents, and other necessary items to the company's record systems. Promote a safe work environment by ensuring that workspaces are suitable for the tasks at hand. If suitable conditions can’t be met, collaborate with the team to implement acceptable mitigation measures. Perform safety inspections of repairs, maintenance and completed work. Other reasonable activities as required for the role Requirement: Relevant trade qualification. (Highly desirable) Current Australian Drivers Licence (Required) Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Required or willing to obtain) White Card (Required) Demonstrated leadership of trades within a service delivery model, consistently meeting client expectations and standards. Demonstrated ability to maintain maintenance records in designated computerised system in required format and timeframes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
