JOB SUMMARY

The individual will be under the instruction of the Stores Supervisor and responsible for all shop and merchandising activities.
Engage in daily dialogue with customers, suppliers and colleagues in connection with activities completed and pending.
Actively contribute to improve QHSE working practices, cost reductions, shop merchandising and stock control.

Experience:

• Trade Counter: 1 year (preferred

• Retail sales which includes dealing with customer enquiries at the trade counter and on the telephone.
• Build and develop effective and proactive relationships with customers to understand their business needs and share info with sales team.
• Shop merchandising which includes presentation of goods in stock display format. Ensuring the shelves are well stocked with items our customers want to buy. Ensuring the shop display area is clean and tidy at all times.
• Merchandising product lines to ensure that the display area is both interesting and presentable to our customers in conjunction with the Stores Supervisor.
• Ensure that the stock availability is sufficient to support customer order levels supporting the business through identification of cost reductions.
• Adhering to the company QHSE by keeping all work areas including the yard clean and tidy always by disposing of all waste materials such as cardboard boxes/packaging in a safe manner.
• Ensure that corporate work wear is worn and is presentable to our customers always.
• 36 hours a week Tuesday – Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 8 am to 12pm
