Description

A full time vacancy has arisen at The Plumbline for an enthusiastic and motivated part time Plumbing and Heating Trade Counter Sales Advisor at our Newtown Branch. This is an exciting and challenging role for a rapidly expanding business. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS.

Ideally you will have a merchant or trade background and have existing knowledge of plumbing and heating or be willing and have the aptitude to learn.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to ensure a high standard of customer care.
We are looking for someone who is an excellent team player but also able to work on their own initiative.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE:

Enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated with a can do attitude.
Flexible and able to work well and stay calm under pressure.
You will have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
Working hours are Mon - Thurs 7.30 to 5.30, Fri 7.30 to 5.00

Serving our customers politely and professionally at all times.
Providing accurate and professional advice on products including specification, pricing and availability.
Generating new customers and sales leads.
Responding to sales enquiries and converting to new orders.
Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationship.
Contacting suppliers and ensuring smooth deliveries, following company procedures checking incoming goods against supplier’s delivery notes.
Storing stock safely and ensuring that the store is kept tidy and well presented.
