We are looking for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our faced paced, friendly and dynamic team at our New Southgate branch.

• Greeting, serving and assisting customers.
• Taking, making and returning phone calls.
• Providing customers with advice and guidance on product selection.
• Quoting and liaising with customers.
• Taking orders for deliveries and ensuring that the delivery is completed by transport.
• Following company procedures for sales/returns (In General about 3 months before doing Returns).
• Taking cash and card payments.
• Balancing cash registers with receipts.
• Ensuring customer complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
• Ordering special order items-following up returns to suppliers when necessary.
• Stock taking and stock checks.
• Keeping the counter clean and tidy.
• Keeping counter restocked/merchandised.
• Keeping up to date with promotions updating displays.
• Adherence to health and safety legislation.
• Following the trade counter supervisors’ instructions.
