REQUIREMENTS

• At least 6 to 8 years of work experience in the field of Financial Reporting, preferably within a major commodity trading house.
• Minimum Diploma in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Good understanding of Sanctions and Regulatory requirements including EU, OFAC, and UN Sanctions
• Working knowledge of international trade finance rules: UCP 600, ISBP 745, and URC 522
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting or trade finance software
• Familiarity with trade finance platforms and SWIFT messaging is an advantage

• Meticulous and highly detail-oriented with the ability to spot discrepancies in complex documentation

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven trading environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with banks, counter-parties, and internal teams

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong understanding of AML red flags and compliance best practices in trade finance

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
