Description

REQUIREMENTS: –

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales or Management
  • Relevant experience: minimum 1 year of Trade Marketing or Category experience in FMCG environment.
  • Relevant exposure 1 year experience in Marketing or Sales function can be considered for the role.
  • Strong Interpersonal & Analytical skills.
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint tools.
  • Must be good with numbers.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the TMM / HOTM in the development of trade promotions for each key account and trade channel. Ensure these strategies are in tandem with the positioning and potential of the accounts / channels.
  • Acquire category analysis and data analytics skills and knowledge with the frequent use of Advisor (AC Nielsen Retail Audit) to identify distribution gaps, channel development opportunities for each of key retailers in the assigned categories and brand portfolio.
  • Assist the TMM / HOTM to monitor competitive activities and submit monthly report to track frequency and types of promotions taking place in the various trade sectors, documenting such activities for analysis, reporting and future referencing purposes
  • Work with Demand Planner to monitor and improve category forecast sales by channel & chain in accordance to the monthly schedule for sales forecast submission.
  • Assist TMM / HOTM to liaise, highlight and discuss sales forecast gaps and opportunities with Key Account Manager.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and in-store promotions to determine whether these promotions meet the Company’ objectives.
  • Interact with Sales & Marketing regarding deadlines / lead time required for promotions, pack / price changes, new products, etc in order to ensure effective implementation.
  • Ensure the sales teams adhere to internal pricing guidelines for promotion activities for your assigned product categories and manage promotion calendars for advertised offers.
  • To support new product launches via new distribution tracking, planograms, secondary display and etc.
  • Any other duties assigned by the direct and upper supervisors.
