Description
The Trade Marketing Executive at GSK is responsible for bridging the gap between the company’s marketing strategies and sales objectives. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and evaluating trade marketing initiatives to drive brand availability, visibility and advocacy to maximize sales across various channels. Key Responsibilities Execute trade marketing strategies and campaigns in line with brand objectives across retail and wholesale channels for Trade Pharmacy Universe. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned territory. Work collaboratively with the distributor and Sales team to support the achievement of sales targets through effective digital and on ground promotional activities and trade programs with customer universe. Key Account management across LMT/IMT, Chain, Retail and Wholesale Universe. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize trade investments across customer universe. Deliver and track in-store activations, product launches, and merchandising activities to maximize product visibility and brand impact according to trade activation plan. Enhance sales by ensuring our products are well-stocked and negotiate opportunities for display enhancements and promotions. Manage relationships with key retail partners, wholesalers, and distributors to ensure effective execution of trade marketing initiatives. Collaborate with Trade Customer Universe for their upskilling (Good Pharmacy Practices). Train and guide order bookers as per provided plans. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing activities, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. Ensure compliance with GSK Ways of Workings. Qualifications, Skills and Education Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience preferably in trade marketing or sales in consumer healthcare or pharma. Role require expertise in distribution management, secondary sales, and channel execution. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data analysis tools is a plus. Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented. Why GSK?
