Description
Objective: Responsible for planning, executing, and governing trade marketing strategies that enhance footfall, improve store productivity, and strengthen brand presence. The role focuses on managing trade calendars, optimizing marketing spends, and aligning promotions across multiple territories and concepts to maximize ROI. Through strong data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and market understanding, the position drives targeted campaigns that convert customer traffic into sales and improve overall business performance. Key responsibilities: 1. Trade Strategy, Governance & Business Impact Drive footfall and conversion through well-planned trade initiatives across stores and territories. Manage and optimize trade spends, ensuring budget allocation aligns with revenue contribution and business priorities. Act as custodian of promotional tools such as bounce-back offers, omni-channel vouchers, and cross-concept campaigns. Identify and focus on high-priority stores to improve performance through targeted trade interventions. 2. Planning, Reporting & Performance Tracking Prepare and share weekly performance updates highlighting key trends, insights, and improvement areas. Maintain and circulate updated trade calendars across all stakeholders at master, concept, and territory levels. Consolidate monthly trade plans and forecasted spends in advance for business alignment. Provide detailed post-campaign analysis, including ROI, effectiveness of media mix, and key learnings. 3. Promotions, Campaign Management & Execution Manage end-to-end execution of trade calendars in coordination with brands, concepts, and territories. Recommend and finalize promotion strategies for key events, seasonal campaigns, and store activations. Ensure alignment of offers, promotional mechanics, and campaign objectives across all stakeholders. Support execution of regional retail events, new store launches, and key promotional platforms. 4. Customer Insights, Market Intelligence & Store Optimization Analyze customer demographics, shopping behavior, and store performance to drive targeted trade initiatives. Identify and track focus stores on a quarterly basis to optimize trade efforts. Conduct market and mall mapping across territories to understand customer profiles and traffic patterns. Use insights to refine promotions, improve campaign effectiveness, and enhance customer engagement. Desired Expereince:  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.  5-8 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or multi-brand retail environments.  Strong understanding of retail KPIs, promotional planning, and campaign execution.  Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and drive ROI-focused initiatives.  Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills across brands, territories, and functions.  Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in reporting tools, Excel, and data interpretation.  Good understanding of customer behavior, retail trends, and market dynamics.  Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
