Description

The tasks in detail:

  • Active participation and support in the valuation of companies, the development of financial models, and the preparation of investment proposals, including their presentation to the investment team.
  • Support for due diligence projects through the creation of market and competitive analyses as well as analyses of business plans.
  • Preparation of reports and analyses, as well as balance sheet and cash flow analyses.
  • Support in the development and implementation of value enhancement and expansion plans (including add-on acquisitions) for portfolio companies, preparation and execution of exits, and gradual assumption of partial responsibility for individual workstreams.

The ideal profile:

  • Completed studies in economics and/or engineering (Master's/Diploma, MBA)
  • 12 to 24 months of relevant experience (possibly also through relevant internships, but at least 12 months full-time) in a leading international investment bank, M&A boutique or in a top management consultancy, in the transaction and/or private equity environment
  • Business judgment combined with very good analytical skills and a strong results orientation
  • Self-initiative, work style and ability to develop and formulate one's own perspectives and contribute them to internal and external discussions
  • Excellent social skills, a "hands-on" mentality and humility, both in dealing with external consultants and in the medium-sized business environment.
  • Good English skills and international experience
