TRADE PROCESSING ASSOCIATE - 12 MONTH FTC (MATERNITY COVER)

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in office, more during initial training)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global financial services firm as a Trade Processing Associate on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be part of a high-performing operations team supporting exchange-traded derivatives, ensuring trades are processed, reconciled, and delivered with accuracy and efficiency.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking someone with experience in clearing, settlements, or back-office trade processing-ideally with exposure to cleared derivatives. You’ll bring:

• Experience using platforms such as Seals or Clearvision.
• Familiarity with European exchange GUIs (ICE, Eurex, LME, Euronext, Nasdaq).
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict regulatory deadlines.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the flexibility to adapt to new processes.

As a Trade Processing Associate, you will:

• Manage trade allocations, matching, and give-ups across European markets.
• Handle client queries, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
• Take ownership of break resolution and open interest maintenance.
• Oversee the physical delivery process and facilitate option expiry management.
• Support regulatory reporting (EMIR, MiFID II, exchange reporting).
• Administer invoicing and contribute to local and global projects.
