We now have a rare opportunity for a skilled Electrical Tradesman to join our weekend maintenance team at our Kennington site, just 10 minutes east of Invercargill.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • EWRB Registered Electricians
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical experience in New Zealand
  • Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, fault-finding, and PLCs
  • Physically fit, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive work ethicFull NZ driver’s licence and valid work rights in New Zealand

Responsibilities
  • Preventative electrical maintenance and fault-finding
  • Responding to and resolving breakdowns in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Servicing and installing PLCs, VSDs, switchgear, and motors
  • Commissioning new electrical systems
  • Contributing to electrical improvement projects
  • Collaborating closely with the wider maintenance team, including mechanical engineers
