SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years trade related sales experience with proven track record of exceeding sales goals through strategic thinking and customer engagement
  • Technical knowledge of silicones, sealants, and adhesives to support demonstrations and solutions (is desirable)
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with broader teams
  • Proficient PC and Microsoft Office skills and exposure to using sales CRMs
  • Willingness to travel across the state, as required
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role is responsible for driving the growth of our QLD customer base through the execution of our Selleys Trade Sales strategy. You’ll be tasked with uncovering opportunities within businesses (existing and new customers) and growing percentage share of wallet within the Trade segment of the Silicone, Sealants & Adhesives industry.
As a high performing and results-driven sales professional, you will have the natural ability to build effective relationships with Trade Distributors to generate profitable sales revenue by leveraging your experience in sales, account management and new business acquisition.
This role offers autonomy, variety and the right amount of challenge that will keep you learning and growing your knowledge and skills. You’ll also be surrounded by a team of experts and leader who will support you to succeed in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achievement of sales budgets and growth targets
  • Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of trade accounts across Queensland
  • Execution of the Selleys Trade Sales Strategy/Plan business plans
  • Maintain professional knowledge of the Selleys Trade Product offer/portfolio & range
  • Support Trade Distributors with end user requirements in relation to product, service and sales
  • Collaborate with national teams and align with broader business strategies for major accounts
  • Interpret financial data to develop clear actions that meet sales targets and strategic goals
