Description

We are looking for another Trade Surveillance Officer to join our team! The role will be an integral part of our Compliance team. Our team, currently consisting of 5 Compliance Officers and a Compliance Manager, is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and ethical conduct across all aspects of our business operations.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Officer with expertise in trade surveillance to join our team. You will be responsible for performing trade surveillance with a view to detecting and preventing market abuse and related regulatory aspects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily trade surveillance: Conduct real-time monitoring and surveillance of trading activities to detect and prevent market manipulation, insider trading, and other regulatory violations
  • Analyse trading data and patterns to identify potential market abuse issues and suspicious activities, and escalate potential high risk cases to the Compliance manager
  • Assist in the monitoring of insider trading risks and the development of the personal trading policy and related controls
  • Assist in the maintenance and development of the trade surveillance system in collaboration with different stakeholders, and the calibration of alert and detection logic
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices related to trade surveillance and market integrity
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings (STORS)
  • Assist in periodic compliance reviews to assess the effectiveness of existing market abuse controls and processes
  • Contribute to training development and guidance for employees on market abuse aspects and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for market abuse-related questions
