Responsibilities

Traded Risk function monitors, evaluates and manages market and counterparty risks impacting across the HSBC Group. It is responsible for establishing the global risk management framework for Traded Risk, and plays a key role in ensuring that the Bank is compliant with current and future regulatory requirements relating to Traded Risks and their capitalization.
This role is responsible for generating the different risk reports, as well as controlling and monitoring the market and counterparty risks incurred by HSBC Mexico, through the measurement of the risk exposures reflected in the different indicators that are compared against the limits established by the administration, with the purpose of reporting in a timely manner the aforementioned exposures, complying with the Internal Normativity and the current local regulation.
