Who you are: We’re excited to announce a new opening for the Patents & Trademarks Paralegal (all genders) at Surface Solutions to join our team! This role offers a unique opportunity to actively shape the global legal department of the future company GNMI from August 2025. Core responsibilities include managing the global IP portfolio (filings, renewals, licensing) via an external provider and coordinating with external patent attorneys and authorities. You will support the digitalization of processes, draft contract documents (NDAs, licensing agreements), and ensure compliance with international regulations (e.g., data protection), while supporting three regional legal counsels (all genders) in EMEA, APAC and the Americas. During the transition to GNMI, you will help develop global workflows and ensure seamless integration. Requirements include a certified legal assistant qualification or equivalent, 2–3 years of IP experience, proficiency in IP databases, and fluency in German and English.
