• As a Trades Assistant, you will be a crucial part of our operations, supporting the production and maintenance teams. If you are mechanically oriented, motivated and keen to learn this is the role for you. We offer lots of variety.
• Assist and support fitters with planned and unplanned maintenance task
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks
• Assist with change and set up of production machinery
• Minor repairs of rollers, guards and production equipment
• Maintain greasing and lubrication of equipment
• MIG welding of steel fabrications and repairs
• Light fabrication work
• General forklift duties
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
