REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age 18
• Previous industrial experience (preferably with mobile plant or heavy industry)

DESIRABLE SKILLS & TICKETS

• RII: Telehandler
• RII: Integrated Tool Carrier
• HRW: Dogger/Rigger
• Industrial painting experience
• Panel beating or basic welding
• Earthmoving tyre fitting experience

We are looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our maintenance team working across our Gladstone-based projects. This hands-on role supports our Diesel Fitters with the maintenance of our company-owned fleet of mobile plant.
For the right candidate, the position also offers a potential pathway into a Diesel Fitting Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities- pending previous experience

• Rust repairs, surface preparation and industrial painting
• Washing and preparing mobile plant before and after scheduled services and repairs
• Operating the IT with tyre grab to support tyre handling
• Assisting tradespeople with a variety of maintenance tasks
• General housekeeping duties in the workshop and yard
