WHAT WE OFFER * Casual role: Working at Gladstone Port * Competitive Rate: $37.76 per hour + 25% Casual Loading + Site Allowance + Penalties * Residential Roster: Monday – Friday with options for additional hours * Convenient Location: At Gladstone Port. * Supportive Environment: Tight-knit team environment within a workplace that focuses on Zero Harm As the site-based Trade Assistant you will be assisting various trades, operate a forklift and ensure work is completed safely, effectively and to the required standard. ABOUT YOU * Site Proficient: Have experience working as a Trade Assistant within a heavy industry environment. * Technically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks. * Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety. * Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (within 2 years validity). High Risk Work Licence with Forklift (LF) and Elevated Work Platform (EWP) is advantageous. * Must be able to obtain MSIC - a Maritime Security Identification Card ABOUT THE TEAM Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
