OUR OPPORTUNITY

Due to continued growth, NEPEAN Longwall is currently seeking Trades Assistants to join the team.These opportunities are full-time and based in Kurri Kurri, NSW, with available AM and PM shift options.

THE RIGHT PERSON

We are looking for candidates with the following capabilities and skills:

• Experience working as a Trades Assistant or Assembler
• Competent in the use of hand and power tools such as ratchets, drills, and spanners
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Mechanically minded
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

• Assisting tradesman as required on Roof Support as well as AFC and BSL overhauls.
• Maintaining housekeeping and cleanliness of designated workplace
• Forklift driving, overhead crane operation, and handling materials and equipment
• Identifying improvements and completing a Non-Conformance Report (NCQ-FM-08) if and when required
• Assisting in the training of apprentices by demonstrating correct work procedures
