Description

Cummins is seeking a talented Trades Assistant to join the Reuse Materials Team at our Master Rebuild Centre in Carole Park, Brisbane, QLD. Role details: Full-time day shift role (38 hours per week), on-site due to operational requirements. In this role, you will operate machines and production equipment safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment, meeting quality and productivity requirements with limited guidance. Key Responsibilities * Receive, unload, and store parts and materials in designated warehouse locations. * Pick, pack, wrap, and prepare parts for manufacturing, dispatch, or collection. * Clean, inspect, and process reuse components. * Assist with stock control activities, including cycle counts, inventory checks, and accurate labelling of parts. * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment in line with site safety procedures. * Support loading and unloading activities and operate materials handling equipment where licensed and required. * Follow standard work, quality procedures, and safety requirements. * Operate manual and automated equipment to meet production, quality, and cycle time targets. * Perform inspections, identify non-conforming material, and escalate issues as needed. * Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and complete basic equipment care. * Work collaboratively with team members and support staff to meet production goals. * Communicate effectively and complete required training. * Identify, report, and help address safety and environmental hazards, while using the required PPE. * Remain flexible and perform additional duties as needed.
