What you’ll be doing As a Trades Assistant at Hastings Deering, you will: Deliver quality service – carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring our customers’ equipment performs at its best. Follow the right procedures – research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications. Day to Day - General yard cleaning & wash bay duties Machine Operation - Overhead Gantry Crane and Forklift use Keep customers informed – involve customers in major repair decisions and provide clear updates on job progress. Strong communicator – excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus. Licenses a plus – overhead crane and forklift tickets are desirable (training opportunities may be available).
