This position reports to the Production Supervisor. The Trades Assistant is accountable to the Production Supervisor for ensuring that all assembly, testing and other activities are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with all relevant company procedures and instructions. Where is the position located? This is a permanent Full-time position at Welshpool, WA What will your typical day look like? Assist in the assembly and test all products in accordance with the relevant and appropriate drawings, assembly instructions, Quality requirements, and test specifications/procedures; Disassembly of equipment and washing and cleaning of any such equipment; Recommend to the LH rejection of any components considered to be unsuitable for assembly; Properly fill in and sign/date all appropriate test result forms, at the completion of testing of finished assemblies/products; Identify all products tested to indicate tested status, i.e. Batch No. and Serial Number stamped on body or product, after passing all tests; Promptly advise LH/SC&OM of any inaccuracies in Test Specifications and Drawings, or problems being experienced in achieving the desired results; Actively participate in weekly Tool Box meetings and other team meetings; Devote and develop the best available skills to the interests and business of the Company so as to promote an image of professionalism, efficiency and courtesy to Customers, suppliers and other business associates, and other employees of the Company; Acts as a backup or assistant to Warehouse personnel if and when required; Undertake any reasonable duties as may from time to time be allocated by the LH/SC&OM; Commitment to Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements; and Any other duties directed by your manager.
