We are seeking a Trades Assistant to join our Cat Rental team in Laverton in a full time role.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cat Rental team currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated Trades Assistant. Working as part of a small team, this position offers the opportunity to join an exciting part of the business and gain experience in supporting Caterpillar equipment.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AS A TRADES ASSISTANT WILL INCLUDE:

• Support the service department with managing and maintaining contamination control and workshop cleanliness to provide a safe and efficient work environment
• Organisation of the yard and equipment
• Wash and inspect of equipment prior and post hire for customers
• Completing required administrative tasks accurately and effectively
• Always providing quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Support the service departments to maximise productivity.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills/experience:

• Experience in manual handling
• A forklift licence is preferred
• Ability to use smart phone/tablet and relevant apps
• A positive attitude towards customer service
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated and team orientated
• Proven ability to work unsupervise
