REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate of qualification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning System Mechanic 313A
• Gas Technician G1 or G2 license
• High school diploma
• Previous experience in a hospital or large-scale building maintenance an asset
• Experience with Building Automation System (BAS) an asset
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards
• Ability to work with blueprints, drawings, schematic diagrams and layouts
• Ability to shift priorities with minimal disruption
• Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with respect in oral and written format with supervisors, colleagues, and other members of the health care team
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
• Bilingualism preferred (French/English)
