Job Description Summary As a Tradesperson you will be responsible for supporting and continuing to drive improvements in the inspection, overhaul and modification of a variety of parts within the GE90 Bulk Strip. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Each role will be working within a small team and therefore the ability to work well with others is essential The roles involve the execution of manual processes on a rotating shift pattern in an overhaul environment Use of hand tools and grinding equipment Detailed inspection of parts Declaring components serviceable Identifying and implementing process improvements Identify and hold responsibility for Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety issues Qualifications/Requirements Completed a formal engineering apprenticeship Previous experience of mechanical engineering in the aerospace industry (DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE OF THIS MUST BE SUBMITTED AT THE POINT OF APPLICATION E.G – Log Book/ Certifications) Relevant Gas Turbine Engine overhaul experience Desirable Characteristics Previous Experience using OEM Shop Manuals Experience of working in a line maintenance Environment Excellent communication skills, the ability to get on with colleagues and communicate priorities as required.
