THE POSITION

Our Trading analysts create value for our customers. They are responsible for generating revenue by bidding and optimising Sympower managed assets, into Balancing and wholesale markets.
As an Trading and Operations Analyst, you are responsible for day-ahead trading and real-time bid monitoring which includes trading and changing bids to optimize revenues and minimize operational costs
You will also be responsible for monitoring customer assets, ensuring uptime and act as the central point of contact for customer operations.

Responsibilities
  • Optimising Sympower’s assets and portfolio management
  • Daily trade operations
  • Monitor and analyze the market
  • Trade adjustments, corrections, optimization of revenues, minimizing costs and fines
  • Obtain information from customers required to bid (get forecasts, etc)
  • Monitoring the availability of assets.
  • Create reports to show the results of trading and monitoring
  • Working scheduled hours on the trading desk, approx 60% of your working time (as of current structure, that could potentially change). There are three shifts you will be working on together with your team mates:
  • Morning: 06-14:30 CET 30 min lunch weekdays
  • Evening: 14:00-22:00 CET
  • Weekends: 4 flexible hours Saturdays and Sundays
