WORK REQUIRED BY THE PETROCHEMICAL DEPARTMENT INCLUDING AND NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING BROAD AREAS:

• Associate with executing and managing physical commodity trade
• Responsible for the marketing, sales and after sales of Petrochemicals.
• Working closely with other departments (Operation, Finance and Risk team) to execute contract as per agreed terms and parameters via traders
• Analysing the supply-demand balance and identifying the best market for the sales.
• Parallel running by inputting data entry into trading system to ensure both manual and trading systems operate simultaneously
• Associate with Data Management and analysing via Platts
• Developing and maintaining a good relationship with customers

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years of experience in the fine chemicals industry is preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese to liaise with internal/external mandarin speaking counterparts.
• Familiar with Incoterms, international business practice for fine chemical industry
• Familiar with fine chemical business shipped by containers/iso-containers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced/dynamic environment. Meticulous, detailed and good follow through.
• Motivated and disciplined; strong sense of accountability
