Trading Control Analyst Carmel, IN The position will be responsible for maintaining a sound trading control environment.  Duties and Responsibilities * Assist in onboarding new clients, services, markets, or commodities.   * Contribute to the implementation of new systems or processes related to trade execution, deal capture, validation, and reporting.   * Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data in risk management systems through trade capture, reconciliations and error reporting.   * Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.   * Monitor compliance with established trading authority and hedging policies.    * Collaborate with the settlements team to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.   * Manage the confirmation letter review process.   * Analyze transactions to ensure execution at market prices.   * Train other ACES staff, fostering growth and development.   * Stay informed of energy market risks and challenges, identifying areas of opportunity for Trading Control to assist in mitigating risks.   * Analyze and improve Trading Control processes using all available tools (AI, R, Python, internal risk systems) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.   * Collaborate with team members, attend meetings, and contribute insights to foster a positive and productive work environment.   * Ability to travel. * Adheres to and is supportive of all ACES corporate policies and complies with all regulatory requirements including but not   limited to NERC, FERC and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position. * Any additional responsibilities assigned by management. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree in related area of study OR Associate Degree with 2+ years of energy industry experience.   * Sound analytical and critical thinking skills, exceptional written and oral communication, strong attention to detail.  * Ability to review data, identify trends, patterns, and risks.   * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Background with R, AI products desirable.   * Innovative, self-motivated, proactive, and organized. A team player with a positive attitude, strong business judgment, and professional skepticism.   * Ability to identify risks, solve problems, and prioritize tasks effectively.
