About Lona Lona is an AI-powered algorithmic trading platform that lets traders build, backtest, and deploy strategies using natural language. No coding required. We support 800+ symbols across crypto, equities, and forex, with exports to TradingView and MetaTrader 5. We are growing fast and looking for someone who lives at the intersection of trading and AI. The Role We are looking for a Trading Product Manager - someone who deeply understands financial markets, algorithmic trading, and knows how AI tools are changing the game. You will own the product direction of Lona from a trading perspective. This is not a generic PM role. We need someone who: Trades: You have real experience in the markets. You understand what traders need because you are one. - Thinks in algorithms: You understand backtesting, risk metrics, strategy development, and what separates a good trading system from a bad one. - Uses AI tools: You know how AI is transforming trading workflows and have strong opinions about where it's going. - Can see the product: You look at a trading platform and immediately know what's missing, what's broken, and what would make it world-class. What You'll Do Own the product roadmap from the trading perspective - Define what features traders actually need - Work closely with our engineering and AI teams to translate trading domain knowledge into product specs - Conduct user research with active traders and algo trading communities - Shape the evolution of our platform across crypto, equities, and forex - Help define partnerships with brokers, data providers, and trading platforms What You Bring Must Have: Proven experience in financial markets (trading, portfolio management, or quantitative analysis) - Understanding of algorithmic/systematic trading: backtesting, Sharpe ratio, drawdown, strategy lifecycle - Familiarity with trading platforms (TradingView, MetaTrader, Interactive Brokers, or similar) - Experience with AI/LLM tools and how they apply to trading - Strong product instinct - you can prioritize ruthlessly - Excellent communication in English (Spanish is a plus) Nice to Have: Experience with crypto markets and DeFi - Knowledge of quantitative frameworks (Backtrader, Zipline, QuantConnect) - Community building experience in trading/fintech - Startup experience - you thrive in fast-moving environments How to Apply Send us a brief note about your trading background and why this role interests you.
