JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Zinc/ standing seam Roofer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be and experienced roofer and have the ability to run there own job. This role involves fabricating and installing standing seam roofs, ensuring they are watertight and durable. The Roofer will be responsible for interpreting schematics and working with hand tools to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Must have Driving license

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in Zinc roofing is essential.
  • Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to fabricate roofing components.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, profiling machines.
  • Physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting and working at heights.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • A valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and install roofing systems using a variety of materials, including Zinc, greencoat.
  • installing Roofit solar roofing system (training will be given.)
  • Perform heavy lifting as required to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing components.
  • Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation according to specifications.
  • Conduct repairs on existing roofs, including masonry work as needed.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced workers when necessary.
