Job Description To be successful as a Flagger, you should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team as safety is our highest priority. A great Flagger should demonstrate excellent knowledge of state traffic regulations as well as have exceptional observation skills. Flagger Responsibilities: * Using hand signals, paddle, and direction signs to direct traffic around road construction sites. * Communicate with other flaggers using hand-held radios to direct two-way radio traffic onto a single lane. * Inform the construction crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety. * Appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites. * Setting up advanced warning signs, barricades, and traffic cones along construction sites to cordon off work zones. * Assist in removing all signs, barricades, and traffic cones upon completion of construction work. * Assisting the construction crew in the removal of debris and hazardous materials. * Attend regularly scheduled safety team meeting prior to work. Qualifications · Driving required role, must have a valid in-state driver’s license · Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day and lift 50-60 lbs. · Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings. · Experience driving. · Must pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test as this is a safety sensitive role Additional Information What We Offer: Competitive Pay: Protector 1: $21.30 - $22.05 Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, EAP, Health Insurance, 401k Recognition and Rewards: Competitive referral incentives and recognition for your dedication and hard work.
