Teamwork, then this safety sensitive career opportunity is for you! Job Description Lead a small crew in planning and executing daily traffic control operations. Communicate clearly with your team to ensure safe and efficient work zones. Set up, Maintain, and remove traffic control devices, while monitoring work zones to ensure safe traffic flow and proper placement of lane closures Inspect work zone to confirm proper placement of signs, barricades, and other traffic control devices to comply with state regulations Providing outstanding service and protection to customers and public Protect the company’s employees, customers, and assets against losses, injuries, and accidents through enforcement of safe work practices. Become a subject matter expert in work zone setup/design and professional flagging. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 1-2+ years of experience preferred in an outdoor safety-focused environment, such as: Military Construction Utilities Road Maintenance Heavy Equipment or Skilled Operators Experience leading small crews, enforcing safety rules, and interacting with customers OR 1-2+ Years Traffic Control Experience / ATSSA Certificate TCT/TCS Certification preferred but not required at time of hire Minimum of 1 year driving experience or comparable driving experience (TMA, Box Truck, construction hauling etc.) Able to Read/Interpret Blueprints preferred OSHA 10/30 a plus Valid state driver's license Must be able to pass pre-employment screening for this Safety Sensitive position, including a drug test. Additional Information WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Field – based role; hours vary based on workload and project needs Must be able to lift 60lbs and stand 8-12 hours daily Work outdoors in all weather conditions Must wear steel/composite toe boots Exposure to traffic, construction sites, dust, asphalt, and loud noise Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying objects BENEFITS Competitive Pay: $20-$21.50/hr. Overtime opportunities. Starting pay may increase based on experience Comprehensive Training: Paid, on-the-job training including ATSSA certification and defensive driving, with ongoing professional development.
