Cogent owns one of Singapore’s largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, freight forwarding, container and ISO tank depot, automotive logistics, and transportation services in Singapore.

REQUIREMENTS

• Nitec or equivalent qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in deployment of drivers for trucking/ loose cargo jobs
• Strong understanding of land transportation regulations, routes, and logistical considerations in Singapore
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

This is a full-time role for a Traffic Controller in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The role will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of Containers via land transportation, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient route planning, and effective communication with drivers and clients.

• Manage trucking activities to fulfill customers’ delivery requirement
• Provide real-time updates on job progress in the system
• Monitor truck and delivery status to optimize resources
• Coordinate container trucking consignments with Prime Mover Drivers and customers
• Ensure the accuracy of driver incentives for drivers
• Perform counseling to Prime Mover Drivers when necessary
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time
