Traffic Controller Principal Job Duties: · Greet customers/truck drivers and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the parkers in your assigned area. · Assist customers/truck drivers on street and help direct traffic. · Communicate all day with shipping department to maintain traffic flow. · Promote good customer relations by consistently showing a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times. · Responsible for spotting any rocks or debris on tracks and removing them to prevent accidents. · Must work with or without supervision. · Other related duties as assigned Education: · High school diploma or GED required. Experience: · Strong customer service experience. Skills: · Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. · Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language. · Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness. · Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills. · Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, and rain, etc. · Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds. · Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time. · Ability to utilize two hands to hold flag and sign while directing traffic **We participate with E-Verify** February 5 - February 13. Potential overtime and extension. Position starts at 6am.
