CLARK Material Handling Company, is a 100 year old company, and a global leader in the material handling and forklift industry. CLARK is seeking qualified candidates to join our team.
The Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for all clerical functions to support the traffic department to include covering the duties of the Traffic Supervisor when out of the office.
This position is located in our Global HQ Office located in the Dallas, TX area (Flower Mound). It is not a remote position.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum High School Education or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail of the slightest discrepancy to mitigate costly mistakes.
  • One - three years previous experience in Traffic Logistics field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills with experience in:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Relative vs. absolute cell references ($A$1)
  • Conditional formatting (highlight rules, color scales, icon sets)
  • Lookup functions: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX + MATCH
  • Logical functions: IF, IFERROR, AND, OR, NOT
  • Text functions: CONCATENATE, TEXT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEN, TRIM, PROPER
  • Date & time functions: TODAY, NOW, DATEDIF, EOMONTH, NETWORKDAYS
  • Named ranges, Data validation (dropdown lists), Charts (column, line, pie, bar) Basic pivot tables & slicers
  • Excellent mathematical skills to perform calculations and Analysis.
  • Good attendance and work record; must be a team Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, stay organized and complete tasks within specific timelines.
  • Uses good judgment, has a high level of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the US without Sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Communicate with carriers to schedule inbound deliveries to the Texas & Kentucky locations.
  • Track incoming shipments and update all applicable systems with current shipment status.
  • Record, maintain, and provide arrival, departure, and other related shipment information.
  • Provide customs documentation to comply with transportation & customs regulations to freight forwarders & customs brokers.
  • Resolve issues pertaining to inbound or outbound shipments – respond to requests from internal and external customers.
  • Enter import truck shipments, CKD, & parts shipments in all systems & submit EPA documentation.
  • Set up new ship to addresses in all applicable systems.
  • Generate Summary of Shipment report weekly for new shipments & distribute report to the Order Dept.
