Position summary: Responsible for traffic engineering and smart mobility design using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments. This job involves a strong mix of electrical, civil, and systems engineering principles. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Essential functions and responsibilities * Assist with traffic signal design, including CAD and field work * Assist with traffic signal corridor retiming, including field work, implementation, and fine-tuning * Assist with design computations and plan preparations * Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools * Assist with developing the project quantities for construction cost estimate. * Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction Nonessential functions and responsibilities * Perform other related duties as assigned * sUAS (drone) piloting * Research and studies
