YOUR OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting Traffic Dispatcher opportunity in our Guymon Plant. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the scheduling team. The Traffic Dispatcher will coordinate loading dock shags to shag drivers. Must be able to deal with OTR (Over the Road) drivers and maintain complete reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list is not intended to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned. * Input necessary data into the Market Haul Delivery database, organize the output, and distribute it to the appropriate personnel. * Establish and adjust work procedures to meet the operational needs of transportation, marketing, plant, and production. * Direct the daily assignment of drivers and trucks by dispatching assets according to the best combination of route and equipment usage. * Routinely makes critical decisions regarding efficient and effective operations of the fleet, as well as determining appropriate responses to emergencies. * Assist the Market Haul Group with troubleshooting and follow-up deliveries and discrepancies in scheduled vs. actual deliveries. SCHEDULE * The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends and overnight travel as requested.
