It requires a foundational understanding of networking, proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Go, and experience with Kubernetes, Kubernetes CNI, IPAM and Service Mesh management. Responsibilities Support Traffic Management Solutions: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of solutions to manage network traffic efficiently. Optimize Network Operations: Contribute to improving efficiency and performance. Develop High-Performance Applications: Utilize C++ and Go to support the creation of robust applications. Manage Scalability on Kubernetes: Help deploy and oversee scalable systems, focusing on Kubernetes CNI, IPAM and Service Mesh management. Implement CI/CD Processes: Integrate and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to ensure efficient development and deployment workflows. Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions and learn from senior engineers. Contribute to Open-Source Projects: Participate in projects to keep eBay at the forefront of technology. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields. Experience: 5 years in networking and traffic management.
