We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
There has never been a better time to join our team – with several project wins on the horizon, including a major project with packages to be awarded early 2025, you’ll have the chance to be part of exciting new ventures and contribute to shaping the future of infrastructure in Melbourne.
As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger in building the future we want.
We’re looking for a proactive Traffic Engineer to lead and manage traffic management across an exciting major project. You’ll handle everything from planning and sourcing materials for Traffic Control Plans to overseeing traffic operations, ensuring safety, quality, and community standards are met. You’ll prepare and maintain traffic management plans, coordinate approvals and audits, and respond to incidents quickly and efficiently. Working closely with clients, authorities, and the community, you’ll ensure smooth, safe traffic flow while supporting construction teams and managing subcontractors.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Significant experience in civil construction traffic management, preferably in a principal contractor environment.
  • Formal qualifications relating to traffic management design, implementation and audit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current C-Class Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and organise the procurement of materials like signage and barriers to support traffic control plans.
  • Manage and coordinate traffic management activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Vehicle Movement Plans (VMPs), including securing all necessary permits.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to spot and fix any issues with traffic control setups.
  • Work closely with clients, traffic authorities, emergency services, and project teams to keep traffic running smoothly.
